Dawid Faron started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Stefan Zagrobelny cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Juliusz Nakonieczny was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Damian Niemojewski's late challenge caught a Lech Poznań's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Niemojewski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lech Poznań getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jerzy Zbytniewski hit a great ball. Ulryk Prokowski's late challenge caught a Lech Poznań's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulryk Prokowski helped the player get up and apologised. 22 minutes into the match, Lech Poznań's Andrzej Turacki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juliusz Nakonieczny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Dobromir Kordalewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teobald Kornasiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teobald Kornasiewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th match minute, Korczowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobald Kornasiewicz to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobald Kornasiewicz got free with Kacper Gniech in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A hard shot 56 in the game by Wiktor Rasimowicz from a close distance when the talented Juliusz Nakonieczny managed to make a qualified save. Korczowa's players were relieved. Juliusz Nakonieczny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wiktor Rasimowicz in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Lech Poznań's Dawid Faron dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Kacper Gniech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiktor Huratiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Korczowa's Hugon Betonowy got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lech Poznań's Damian Rydzyk was substituted for Dawid Faron. Lech Poznań's Kacper Gniech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobald Kornasiewicz in the 78th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Lech Poznań's Juliusz Nakonieczny threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Damian Rydzyk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobald Kornasiewicz in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kacper Gniech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teobald Kornasiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lech Poznań made a substitution. Jurre Idema replaced Wiktor Rasimowicz. Kacper Gniech came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Korczowa's Teobald Kornasiewicz. But to his dismay, Teobald Kornasiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lech Poznań eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
