Wasyl Walicki got in the 35th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Maciej Wincek. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-0. When Adam Kaczanka came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Stroniewice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Kaczanka couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Olschöwen SSA's Rafal Szel got a free kick in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
