Tanek Mlekodaj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Gardyny SA's Miroslaw Olchowy got control of the ball when Tanek Mlekodaj tried to sneak it across the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pijanow reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Zachariasz Sadlowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pijanow's supporters rose to their feet, but Zachariasz Sadlowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miroslaw Olchowy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zachariasz Sadlowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. The supporters of Pijanow booed when Gardyny SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachariasz Brzakala didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Tanek Mlekodaj got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zachariasz Sadlowski made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Jan Nuszkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Tanek Mlekodaj managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pijanow's supporters rose to their feet, but Tanek Mlekodaj was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Beniamin Januszewski fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pijanow's protests and gave Beniamin Januszewski a yellow card for diving instead. 70 minutes into the game, one of Pijanow:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Bogdan Fink, was totally fooled by Gardyny SA's Florian Ziombkowski, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Krzysztof Wydrych managed to get in a good position for a shot.
