The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roch Barycz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teofil Jaworski kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Ryszard Rydzyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, one of Celbowo SA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Celbowo SA. Ludomil Janiczek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szymon Harendarski having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawel Seliga in the 45th minute of play forced Szczeka's goalkeeper Roch Barycz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Szczeka's Roch Barycz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Seliga in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
