Olaf Magdziarz's late challenge caught a Godzieszki's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Cyryl Gardocki sped through Dmochy SA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jerzy Kosmatka. If Feliks Bojanowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maciej Cetnar to make the kick off. When Maciej Cetnar, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Witomir Zacharek was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 60 played minutes Godzieszki got a freekick which was hit by Jurand Mroczynski. Feliks Bojanowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Dmochy SA's Ludomir Major got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The Godzieszki players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
