After 19 played minutes Rynek SSA got a freekick which was hit by Lukasz Domamir. After recieving a nice pass, Miechowitz SSA's Lech Serwach tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Karol Rostow could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Sebastian Robak however easily saved by the left post. Konstanty Zdeb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witold Tobaczewski's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After 30 minutes of play, Rynek SSA's Piotr Kochowski made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Konstanty Zdeb was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miechowitz SSA's Janusz Giertych got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Witold Tobaczewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstanty Zdeb having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Janusz Giertych was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Janusz Giertych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Robak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Artur Walec fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rynek SSA's protests and gave Artur Walec a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Piotr Kochowski got free with Konstanty Zdeb in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Piotr Kochowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstanty Zdeb having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Rynek SSA's Piotr Kochowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konstanty Zdeb narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Karol Rostow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
