Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hieronim Mikulski got the match started through his kick off. Szalmia's Jerzy Chludzinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hieronim Mikulski in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th match minute, Szalmia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milosz Kordalewski to maneuver through the defense. Jerzy Chludzinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kacper Wnukowski in the 6th minute of play. Jerzy Chludzinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Gargasz in the 10th minute of the match. Franciszek Faron charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franciszek Faron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Franciszek Faron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olaf Pietrowiak got in the 19th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Iwo Cichewski handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 21 minutes in the game, Hieronim Mikulski dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. A collision led to Gubin getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Benedykt Slazak hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the game, Witomir Lech was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Szalmia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gubin the free kick. Lucjan Gargasz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Chludzinski having to interfere. Jerzy Chludzinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hieronim Mikulski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Barnaba Psotka dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iwo Cichewski, 1-0. After 41 played minutes Gubin got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Gargasz. In the 48th minute, Olaf Pietrowiak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olaf Pietrowiak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olaf Pietrowiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwo Cichewski having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Szalmia's Olaf Pietrowiak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iwo Cichewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Olaf Pietrowiak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hieronim Mikulski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jerzy Chludzinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Szalmia got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Purzycki. Jerzy Chludzinski was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Franciszek Faron capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Franciszek Faron really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Barnaba Psotka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Ludomil Radzyminski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Olaf Pietrowiak came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Szalmia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olaf Pietrowiak couldn't finish the play. Gubin's Ludomil Radzyminski got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Szalmia booed when Gubin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hieronim Mikulski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
