The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zygmunt Pozorski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Zilona's Szymon Wachna in the 16th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Waldemar Brysz was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Goniadz through an amazing save. Tobiasz Kosakowski charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobiasz Kosakowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Goniadz getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Tobiasz Kosakowski hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Zilona's Filip Nienajadlo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Goniadz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Jurand Damazki charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jurand Damazki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Zilona's Jurand Damazki got a free kick in the 28th minute. Tadeusz Jurgiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Brysz having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilbert Pietras during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Goniadz got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Pietras. Olgierd Latocha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Waldemar Brysz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wit Piekarczyk made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szymon Wachna in the 54th minute of play forced Goniadz's goalkeeper Waldemar Brysz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Szymon Wachna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zilona's Olgierd Latocha got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olgierd Latocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Szymon Wachna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Olgierd Latocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zilona's supporters rose to their feet, but Olgierd Latocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldemar Brysz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Zilona's Olgierd Latocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Waldemar Brysz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zilona's Szymon Wachna got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Olgierd Latocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Zilona's goalkeeper Zygmunt Pozorski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wit Piekarczyk. 87 minutes into the game, Feliks Olszewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zilona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goniadz the free kick. In the 87th match minute, Zilona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliks Olszewski to maneuver through the defense. Zilona walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
