Radomir Pryla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbigniew Figlewski having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Igor Czerny made a precise shot to the right of Zbigniew Figlewski. TP Skarpa Zdrój's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Juliusz Kosel hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Kazimierz Rakowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kazimierz Rakowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Klement Borucki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Gruzka's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomir Dzerwucki came free, but Klement Borucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludomir Dzerwucki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Klement Borucki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kazimierz Rakowicz came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the TP Skarpa Zdrój fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kazimierz Rakowicz couldn't finish the play. Radomir Pryla charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radomir Pryla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gruzka getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Radomir Pryla hit a great ball. Kazimierz Rakowicz struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Klement Borucki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TP Skarpa Zdrój. In the 39th match minute, Gruzka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliusz Kosel to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 49 minutes, Kazimierz Rakowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TP Skarpa Zdrój's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kazimierz Rakowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludomir Dzerwucki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Radomir Pryla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Igor Czerny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Figlewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Czerny kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Gruzka's Klement Borucki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Gruzka from getting a goal against them. After 77 minutes, Leon Michnik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TP Skarpa Zdrój and the Gruzka players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in TP Skarpa Zdrój fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! After 82 played minutes TP Skarpa Zdrój got a freekick which was hit by Mieszko Ludwa. In the 84th minute Gruzka were awarded a corner. Olgierd Wielopolski went to the cornerflag to take it. If Ludomir Dzerwucki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gruzka's Radomir Pryla in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TP Skarpa Zdrój's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Gruzka's Klement Borucki got control of the ball when Kazimierz Rakowicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Radomir Pryla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Czerny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbigniew Figlewski having to interfere. TP Skarpa Zdrój's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
