Akademia K&K's Emil Brzeszczak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Akademia K&K from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 57 minutes, Teofil Smuskiewicz made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rakówka's Ludomil Damaski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute Ulryk Brataniec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Brzeszczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes, Rakówka's Maksymilian Sawicki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emil Brzeszczak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rakówka reached it. In the 71st minute Zbyszek Czajka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Brzeszczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zbyszek Czajka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Brzeszczak was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Rakówka's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
