Olgierd Wisniewski's late challenge caught a PREZYDENT GDANSK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olgierd Wisniewski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, one of KP Aster:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KP Aster. Iwan Majorski shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Zenon Turek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kajetan Dranka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zenon Turek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernard Praski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Dranka having to interfere. PREZYDENT GDANSK's Zenon Turek got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Praski in the 32nd minute of play forced KP Aster's goalkeeper Kajetan Dranka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KP Aster's Czeslaw Miazga got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tymoteusz Dembowski succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 41st playminute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Czeslaw Miazga to strike the kick off in the second half.
