In the 8thth minute of the game Aureliusz Rozanski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pink Floyd's Stasio Bejgier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pink Floyd's zone, Aureliusz Rozanski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stasio Bejgier came out of the goal and Aureliusz Rozanski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Nakonieczny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Kociniewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roch Puchlik during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Roch Puchlik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wit Mojsiewicz in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stasio Bejgier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 22 minutes, Aureliusz Rozanski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nerazzurri Gdańsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliusz Rozanski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nerazzurri Gdańsk's Daniel Kociniewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Bierfass in the 24th minute of play. After 31 minutes, Aureliusz Rozanski made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pink Floyd's Stasio Bejgier tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 42 played minutes Nerazzurri Gdańsk got a freekick which was hit by Grzegorz Winograd. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucjan Bierfass in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Kociniewski saved Nerazzurri Gdańsk from getting behind. If Wit Mojsiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aureliusz Rozanski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nerazzurri Gdańsk's Daniel Kociniewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Bierfass in the 51st minute of play. Daniel Kociniewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Nakonieczny's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. If Lucjan Bierfass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Nerazzurri Gdańsk's Jacek Adamczak got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute of the match Hieronim Zapolski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Kociniewski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Stasio Bejgier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wit Mojsiewicz in the 66th minute. After 67 minutes, Milosz Bronkala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nerazzurri Gdańsk and the Pink Floyd players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nerazzurri Gdańsk getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Milosz Bronkala hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Robert Nakonieczny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Kociniewski was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. If Lucjan Bierfass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Nerazzurri Gdańsk's Wit Mojsiewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stasio Bejgier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Nerazzurri Gdańsk defense, Robert Nakonieczny kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Kociniewski. The Nerazzurri Gdańsk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Kociniewski should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Nakonieczny in the 94th minute of play forced Nerazzurri Gdańsk's goalkeeper Daniel Kociniewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nerazzurri Gdańsk's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
