The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kalafiorki FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Ulryk Grabowicz fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kalafiorki FC's protests and gave Ulryk Grabowicz a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Kalafiorki FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulryk Grabowicz. After 12 played minutes, Liewo's Stanislaw Cuber shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ludomir Pyrzyce came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Liewo reached it. In the 15th minute Bogdan Ruszkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomir Pyrzyce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Ruszkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ludomir Pyrzyce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Pieprz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Lucjan Kocieniewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Pieprz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Kocieniewski having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Liewo got a freekick which was hit by Mariusz Nakonieczny. Slawomir Banan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, Kalafiorki FC's Jan Domalik got a free kick in the 51st minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Bogdan Ruszkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liewo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogdan Ruszkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kalafiorki FC's Slawomir Banan got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leon Pieprz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Liewo defense, Slawomir Banan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucjan Kocieniewski. The Liewo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucjan Kocieniewski should have stopped the shot. Ulryk Grabowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Kalafiorki FC's Slawomir Banan in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Kalafiorki FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Liewo:s goal.
