The supporters of Karwia booed when Znachorzy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kryspin Nocny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karwia's Edward Napierkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugon Kalak in the 16th minute of play. Zbyszek Pilarczyk might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Napierkowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zbyszek Pilarczyk ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute of the match, Iwo Grocholski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mariusz Dubiel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
