Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Soweiden's Boguslaw Drzewucki started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ulryk Jaroch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boguslaw Drzewucki's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. With a little luck, Kostrogaj's Ulryk Jaroch got control of the ball when Beniamin Dytrych tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Boguslaw Drzewucki fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soweiden's protests and gave Boguslaw Drzewucki a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute Boguslaw Drzewucki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulryk Jaroch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kostrogaj's zone, Boguslaw Drzewucki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulryk Jaroch came out of the goal and Boguslaw Drzewucki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boguslaw Drzewucki was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. Soweiden's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 30th minute, Norbert Kosowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beniamin Dytrych received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ulryk Jaroch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulryk Jaroch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boguslaw Drzewucki, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Kostrogaj's Ulryk Jaroch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Kostrogaj from getting a goal against them. Boguslaw Drzewucki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulryk Jaroch having to interfere. When Beniamin Dytrych came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Soweiden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beniamin Dytrych couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute of the match Florian Zieba shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulryk Jaroch showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kostrogaj's Ulryk Jaroch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Kostrogaj from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute Boguslaw Drzewucki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulryk Jaroch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wiktor Parzysz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukasz Grabski, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lukasz Grabski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54th play minutes Boguslaw Drzewucki shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Ulryk Jaroch and just under the crossbar into goal. 60 minutes into the game, Edward Trzemzalski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kostrogaj's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soweiden the free kick. In the 59th minute, one of Kostrogaj:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kostrogaj. When Boguslaw Drzewucki, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 65 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ulryk Jaroch was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Kostrogaj's Ulryk Jaroch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Drzewucki in the 68th minute of play. When Norbert Kosowski fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kostrogaj's protests and gave Norbert Kosowski a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Kostrogaj got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Kosowski. If Boguslaw Drzewucki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beniamin Dytrych's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulryk Jaroch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After some careless play in the Kostrogaj defense, Beniamin Dytrych kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulryk Jaroch. The Kostrogaj fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulryk Jaroch should have stopped the shot. Dominik Bojanowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wiktor Parzysz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dominik Bojanowski ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 85 minutes, Boguslaw Drzewucki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soweiden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boguslaw Drzewucki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boguslaw Drzewucki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulryk Jaroch having to interfere. If Beniamin Dytrych had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Soweiden fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kostrogaj had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
