Julian Kasiewski's late challenge caught a Witobel SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Kasiewski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Wengoyen SSA getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Julian Kasiewski hit a great ball. If Dominik Szkarpiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lukasz Rasiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Szkarpiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Rafal Popowicz fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Witobel SA's protests and gave Rafal Popowicz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Rafal Popowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Witobel SA's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Lichniak came free, but Bernard Kon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Szczepan Hatman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wengoyen SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Szczepan Hatman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Szczepan Hatman could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Bernard Kon however easily saved by the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Lichniak was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Witobel SA booed when Wengoyen SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Giertych didn't get a good kick on the ball.
