In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zagłębie Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Majczyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dobry Brodzki hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pekoslaw Gniech in the 16th minute of play forced Zagłębie Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Majczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pekoslaw Gniech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wladyslaw Majczyk having to interfere. The supporters of Proboszczów SSA booed when Zagłębie Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbigniew Nieuzyla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Proboszczów SSA's Ziven Wozniak couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Zagłębie Sosnowiec. 28 minutes into the match, Pekoslaw Gniech had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wladyslaw Majczyk. Zagłębie Sosnowiec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pekoslaw Gniech was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Zagłębie Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Zbigniew Nieuzyla hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Pekoslaw Gniech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wladyslaw Majczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dobry Brodzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Robert Lanczak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zagłębie Sosnowiec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Proboszczów SSA the free kick. In the 37th minute, Robert Lanczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Wladyslaw Majczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michail Patrylo in the 42nd minute of play. After 42 played minutes Zagłębie Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Andrzej Bilicki. When Dobry Brodzki came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Proboszczów SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dobry Brodzki couldn't finish the play. After the first half Proboszczów SSA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Izydor Japola to strike the kick off in the second half. Michail Patrylo charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michail Patrylo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Proboszczów SSA getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Michail Patrylo hit a great ball. Wasylo Kaczanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Japola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Proboszczów SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pekoslaw Gniech was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Pekoslaw Gniech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zagłębie Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Majczyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karol Karwowski charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gwidon Levickis during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wasylo Kaczanek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Izydor Japola in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wasylo Kaczanek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Slawomir Skikiewicz took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wasylo Kaczanek. Wasylo Kaczanek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Pekoslaw Gniech sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wladyslaw Majczyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dobry Brodzki in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zagłębie Sosnowiec fans cheered their team off the field, for while Proboszczów SSA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
