Podbon's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Gaszynski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kryspin Ziemniak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bogumil Huk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Juliusz Cielencki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lukasz Barycz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kryspin Ziemniak having to interfere. Kryspin Ziemniak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukasz Barycz, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Podbon's Lukasz Barycz got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juliusz Cielencki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogumil Huk in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukasz Barycz in the 25th minute of play forced Szczuczarz SA's goalkeeper Kryspin Ziemniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Boleslaw Roman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juliusz Cielencki. The goal made the score 1-0. Boleslaw Roman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Juliusz Cielencki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juliusz Cielencki came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Szczuczarz SA's Bogumil Huk. But to his dismay, Bogumil Huk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Hugon Ostrowski's late challenge caught a Szczuczarz SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugon Ostrowski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Podbon getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Hugon Ostrowski hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boleslaw Roman made a kick off. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Podbon! The supporters of Podbon booed when Szczuczarz SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolek Zuraw didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st match minute, Szczuczarz SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marian Lewandowski to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Szczuczarz SA's goal looked a bit too open when Radowit Ogrodowicz came free, but Kryspin Ziemniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juliusz Cielencki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogumil Huk in the 74th minute of play. Szczuczarz SA's Tolek Zuraw was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Juliusz Cielencki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Juliusz Cielencki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boleslaw Roman in the 93rd minute of the match.
