Marysinek's Edward Furgat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wawrzyniec Rydz in the 2nd minute of play. After 4 minutes Marysinek's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wlodzimierz Ferfecki who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Wlodzimierz Ferfecki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edward Furgat quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Atlético Madryt defense, Grzegorz Gonsiewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barnaba Dombroski. The Atlético Madryt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barnaba Dombroski should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute, Wawrzyniec Rydz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Edward Furgat managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Atlético Madryt's Wawrzyniec Rydz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Wieslaw Kornasiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marysinek's protests and gave Wieslaw Kornasiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. Wieslaw Kornasiewicz hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Marysinek's goalkeeper Edward Furgat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wawrzyniec Rydz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tytus Marciewicz during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tytus Marciewicz hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Miromir Tusk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barnaba Dombroski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 38th minute of the match, Tadeusz Dobilas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edward Furgat saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 42 minutes, Konstanty Olszewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Madryt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konstanty Olszewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edward Furgat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wawrzyniec Rydz in the 44th minute. Maciej Kiewra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Barnaba Dombroski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Atlético Madryt's Barnaba Dombroski got control of the ball when Maciej Kiewra tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Marysinek booed when Atlético Madryt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachariasz Wrzosek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barnaba Dombroski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszko Miecznikowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Barnaba Dombroski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Gonsiewski in the 60th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maciej Kiewra got free with Barnaba Dombroski in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute Grzegorz Gonsiewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnaba Dombroski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeusz Dobilas's late challenge caught a Marysinek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeusz Dobilas helped the player get up and apologised. Tadeusz Dobilas hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Atlético Madryt's Barnaba Dombroski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Madryt from getting a goal against them. Barnaba Dombroski made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Maciej Kiewra sent off a good shot on target. Pankracy Adamczak hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Marysinek's Maciej Kiewra got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barnaba Dombroski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Gonsiewski in the 85th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Marysinek's Grzegorz Gonsiewski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Barnaba Dombroski. Barnaba Dombroski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Edward Furgat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Dobilas in the 94th minute of the match. Marysinek's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
