Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edward Zukowski started the match with the kick off. Janusz Petka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilbert Zecman's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Leader Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Janusz Petka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 6 minutes, Dariusz Dziura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huntenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dariusz Dziura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Huntenberg booed when Team Leader Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliks Gardocki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilbert Zecman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boruc Okropny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Janusz Petka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Okropny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th match minute, Team Leader Bydgoszcz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliks Gardocki to maneuver through the defense. Boruc Okropny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Fabian Zdrojowy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Leader Bydgoszcz's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Zdrojowy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jedrzej Cebula breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Huntenberg's zone, Igor Chowaniec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jedrzej Cebula came out of the goal and Igor Chowaniec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Igor Chowaniec could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Jedrzej Cebula however easily saved by the left post. Edward Zukowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th match minute, Huntenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dariusz Dziura to maneuver through the defense. If Igor Chowaniec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Boruc Okropny ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Janusz Petka was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gilbert Zecman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Gilbert Zecman made the kick off in the second half. If Edward Zukowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Igor Chowaniec came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Team Leader Bydgoszcz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Chowaniec couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Leader Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Janusz Petka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 64 minutes, Maciej Budrewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Team Leader Bydgoszcz and the Huntenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Team Leader Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Maciej Budrewicz. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Team Leader Bydgoszcz's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Konrad Gniewek was slow to take the kick. During this time Huntenberg's players had a chance to rest. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gilbert Zecman sped through Team Leader Bydgoszcz's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Janusz Petka. Dariusz Dziura who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Janusz Petka when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gilbert Zecman struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Janusz Petka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huntenberg. Jedrzej Cebula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Chowaniec in the 88th minute of the match. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Huntenberg! 95 minutes into the game, Team Leader Bydgoszcz's Wasyl Babicki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jedrzej Cebula made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Team Leader Bydgoszcz's Fabian Zdrojowy got a free kick in the 98th minute. When Boruc Okropny came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Huntenberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boruc Okropny couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Huntenberg eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
