The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Maciej Zagrodny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norbert Zworski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ludomil Poling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, FC Płock's Norbert Zworski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ludomil Poling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee gave FC Płock a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ignacy Budacz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ASTRO CREW's Ludomil Poling. 0-1. If Ludomir Pietrowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marian Golembiewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lukasz Gleba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marian Golembiewski ran back to his position shaking his head. When Jan Brytan fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Płock's protests and gave Jan Brytan a yellow card for diving instead. Jan Brytan kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Lukasz Gleba acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tadeusz Starogardzki. Leonard Waselewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Marian Golembiewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ludomil Poling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Brytan in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norbert Zworski during the 38th minute. ASTRO CREW's Ludomil Poling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Zagrodny in the 41st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Norbert Zworski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludomil Poling was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Marian Golembiewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Brytan got his second yellow card in the match during the 47th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 47th minute, Jan Brytan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maciej Zagrodny made a kick off. Lukasz Gleba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomir Pietrowski in the 53rd minute of play. Ludomil Poling made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Maciej Zagrodny sent off a good shot on target. Marian Golembiewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Lukasz Gleba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marian Golembiewski in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukasz Gleba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd play minute Maciej Zagrodny came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ludomil Poling. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maciej Zagrodny got free with Ludomil Poling in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Kazimierz Bryk fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Płock's protests and gave Kazimierz Bryk a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Płock's Kazimierz Bryk got a free kick in the 80th minute. Norbert Zworski hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Lukasz Gleba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Golembiewski in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Płock's zone, Dominik Czajka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukasz Gleba came out of the goal and Dominik Czajka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Płock had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
