Witalis Franzik took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jerzy Giec. Borkowizna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Norbert Adamus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borkowizna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Adamus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerzy Giec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Rawa in the 20th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Maksymilian Poteralski took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jerzy Giec to make any attempt to save it. Maksymilian Poteralski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Giec having to interfere. If Maciej Rawa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, one of Niepruszewo SSA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Niepruszewo SSA. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Zbigniew Kempski fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niepruszewo SSA's protests and gave Zbigniew Kempski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Zbigniew Kempski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerzy Giec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maksymilian Poteralski in the 68th minute of play. Roch Gieraltowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Mochadlo in the 71st minute of play. After 73 minutes of play, Niepruszewo SSA's Maciej Rawa made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerzy Giec was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Rawa in the 81st minute of play forced Borkowizna's goalkeeper Jerzy Giec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wlodzimierz Jarosz charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wlodzimierz Jarosz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Borys Dawiec sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Niepruszewo SSA's Roch Gieraltowski didn't even have to move. Jerzy Giec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Rawa in the 86th minute of play. If Maksymilian Poteralski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niepruszewo SSA's Maciej Rawa got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maksymilian Poteralski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Jerzy Giec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niepruszewo SSA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
