In the 3rd match minute, Szprotawka SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Ruszczyk to maneuver through the defense. Tadeusz Smolarek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ryszard Siedlecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Ryszard Siedlecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Smolarek in the 7th minute of the match. If Hugon Motowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Urban struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Ryszard Siedlecki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Narzym. In the 17th minute, Fryderyk Modliszewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Ruszczyk was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 27th minute Tadeusz Smolarek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Siedlecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 28 minutes, Roman Urban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Narzym's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Urban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maksymilian Jekot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jedrzej Kicia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narzym's Jedrzej Kicia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Narzym from getting a goal against them. Maksymilian Jekot did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Jedrzej Kicia 35 minutes into the match. Hugon Motowski struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Jedrzej Kicia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szprotawka SA. With an all-out effort, Szprotawka SA's Jedrzej Kicia threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hugon Motowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Napoleon Szkaradek during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Napoleon Szkaradek hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 68th minute, Narzym's Roman Urban dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Narzym's Napoleon Szkaradek got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Napoleon Szkaradek off the ground. In the 78th match minute, Narzym was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Napoleon Szkaradek to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Tadeusz Smolarek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Narzym's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeusz Smolarek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ryszard Siedlecki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wieslaw Ryback in the 87th minute of play forced Narzym's goalkeeper Jedrzej Kicia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 played minutes Narzym got a freekick which was hit by Tadeusz Smolarek. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Roman Urban sped through Szprotawka SA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ryszard Siedlecki. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Narzym walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
