The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stefan Kajder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 6 minutes into the match, Miernoty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Kajder came free, but Jaroslaw Kazanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefan Kajder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, Stefan Gongolewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miernoty FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magnats FC the free kick. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Miernoty FC! 17 minutes into the game, Benedykt Liermann recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jurand Czaplicki. Benedykt Liermann showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Stanislaw Walkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Stefan Gongolewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Miernoty FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lech Brzakala was slow to take the kick. During this time Magnats FC's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Miernoty FC booed when Magnats FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbigniew Kaczeniak didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Benedykt Liermann got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After the first half Magnats FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobald Dylla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Benedykt Liermann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jurand Czaplicki. Magnats FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedykt Liermann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Jaroslaw Kazanowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobald Dylla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stanislaw Walkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zbigniew Kaczeniak during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Magnats FC's Zbigniew Kaczeniak got a free kick in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Magnats FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedykt Liermann came free, but Jurand Czaplicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miernoty FC's Jaroslaw Kazanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobald Dylla in the 80th minute of play. Stefan Kajder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Magnats FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbigniew Kaczeniak to maneuver through the defense.
