Fc Barcelona's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucjan Marchewka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Szczepan Kordalewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Lubików SA's Ignacy Niewiadomski threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Krzysztof Jankowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kajetan Adamczak to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zygmunt Plech during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fc Barcelona's Ignacy Niewiadomski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krzysztof Jankowski in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Lubików SA's Krzysztof Jankowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignacy Niewiadomski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Fc Barcelona's Janusz Solak got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ignacy Niewiadomski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Krzysztof Jankowski's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Antoni Pasterski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ignacy Niewiadomski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Fc Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Filip Percha. Ignacy Niewiadomski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugeniusz Fabiszak went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Fc Barcelona booed when Lubików SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Hodyl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th match minute, Fc Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fryderyk Kocieniewski to maneuver through the defense. Ignacy Niewiadomski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krzysztof Jankowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Lucjan Marchewka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Szczepan Kordalewski. Lubików SA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucjan Marchewka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Fc Barcelona's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
