Aleksander Harasimowicz's late challenge caught a Wagi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Chrobak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenon Juchno, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Zdzislaw Kaczynski was a little too slow when Zachary Zalipski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. 26 minutes into the game, Miroslaw Bendyk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wagi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kajanka the free kick. If Zenon Juchno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. Kajanka's Zdzislaw Kaczynski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachary Zalipski in the 39th minute of play. Julian Wasikowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Zachary Zalipski made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Zachary Zalipski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Kaczynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kajanka's Zdzislaw Kaczynski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Maziarski in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Zenon Juchno fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Stefan Chrobak, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Wagi's zone, Julian Wasikowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Chrobak came out of the goal and Julian Wasikowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stefan Chrobak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Wasikowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66thth minute of the game Dariusz Maziarski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kajanka's Zdzislaw Kaczynski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dominik Degutis charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dominik Degutis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Wagi booed when Kajanka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafal Zyskowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Zachary Zalipski put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Zdzislaw Kaczynski. Julian Wasikowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Zachary Zalipski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wagi's supporters rose to their feet, but Zachary Zalipski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zdzislaw Kaczynski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 97 minutes into the match, Kajanka's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Maziarski came free, but Zdzislaw Kaczynski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kajanka's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
