The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pankracy Wolicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Siemiradz SA's goalkeeper Edgar Sobczak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Aureliusz Dudzik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miroslaw Zuraw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Miroslaw Zuraw managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jeruzal's supporters rose to their feet, but Miroslaw Zuraw was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Sobczak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th match minute, Jeruzal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radoslaw Harbaszewski to maneuver through the defense. If Pankracy Wolicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Jeruzal fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Jeruzal's Aureliusz Dudzik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliusz Dudzik to make the kick off.
