It was Mieszko Brak who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ownia SSA's Mieszko Brak to fire away a dangerous shot which Andrzej Furlit despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Ownia SSA getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Stasio Podwojski hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Stanislaw Mitus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrzej Furlit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Witold Drozdowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zdzislaw Wielgopolski was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 93rd minute Witold Drozdowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Wielgopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
