The Borowe SA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olaf Kaczeniak during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Borowe SA's Olaf Kaczeniak got a free kick in the 8th minute. Wit Zdeb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wlodzimierz Logewnik's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zenon Lampe got free with Wit Zdeb in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Borowe SA's Olaf Kaczeniak got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Dobromir Rosiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Borowe SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dobromir Rosiewicz couldn't finish the play. In the 20th match minute, Borowe SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Wielgopolski to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Wit Zdeb managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when FC Lokomotiv's Zenon Lampe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dobromir Rosiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Krzysztof Raszek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslaw Rode in the 25th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes FC Lokomotiv got a freekick which was hit by Jedrzej Koczara. If Dobromir Rosiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Olaf Kaczeniak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Borowe SA's goalkeeper Wit Zdeb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zenon Lampe. Wlodzimierz Logewnik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Wit Zdeb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Lokomotiv's Zenon Lampe was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 35th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Zenon Lampe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olaf Kaczeniak got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of FC Lokomotiv booed when Borowe SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Kaczeniak didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dobromir Rosiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zenon Lampe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Wlodzimierz Logewnik in the 52nd minute of play forced Borowe SA's goalkeeper Wit Zdeb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wit Zdeb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Logewnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Jaroslaw Rode got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Krzysztof Raszek was a little too slow when Marek Wielgopolski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 62nd minute, Marek Wielgopolski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 70 minutes into the match, Wlodzimierz Logewnik notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Borowe SA's Wit Zdeb. Wit Zdeb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Marek Wielgopolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Krzysztof Raszek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klement Tyskie in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Borowe SA's Marek Wielgopolski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Krzysztof Raszek. Krzysztof Raszek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. If Zenon Lampe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dobromir Rosiewicz struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Krzysztof Raszek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borowe SA. FC Lokomotiv's Wlodzimierz Logewnik got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute Zenon Lampe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wit Zdeb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wlodzimierz Logewnik took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wit Zdeb. Wit Zdeb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
