The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Boruc Zdanowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Daniel Jeziorkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boruc Zdanowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Jeziorkowski having to interfere. If Zachariasz Domamir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damazy Jestrimski's late challenge caught a Alfonsów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damazy Jestrimski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Alfonsów booed when Zwik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damazy Jestrimski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zachariasz Domamir in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerzy Zahemski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Wieslaw Czempa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alfonsów's supporters rose to their feet, but Wieslaw Czempa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerzy Zahemski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 25 played minutes Zwik got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Paciuszko. A collision led to Zwik getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Damazy Jestrimski hit a great ball. The supporters of Alfonsów booed when Zwik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Paciuszko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wieslaw Czempa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerzy Zahemski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wieslaw Czempa in the 36th minute of play forced Zwik's goalkeeper Jerzy Zahemski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zachariasz Domamir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zwik's goalkeeper Jerzy Zahemski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zachariasz Domamir to make the kick off. Alfonsów were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Zwik's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zachary Kajfasz took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Bogdan Oliszewski heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 59 minutes into the match, Zwik's goalkeeper Jerzy Zahemski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wieslaw Czempa. Wieslaw Czempa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerzy Zahemski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 66th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. 0-2 became the score in the 71st minute when Zachariasz Domamir elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jerzy Zahemski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachariasz Domamir in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Zwik's goal looked a bit too open when Zachariasz Domamir came free, but Jerzy Zahemski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachariasz Domamir in the 84th minute of play forced Zwik's goalkeeper Jerzy Zahemski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zachariasz Domamir in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerzy Zahemski saved Zwik from getting behind. Klement Polek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute Alfonsów were awarded a corner. Zachary Kajfasz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Zachary Kajfasz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Zwik's Jerzy Zahemski did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Wieslaw Czempa managed to get in a good position for a shot.
