A very good chance for a goal. 45 minutes into the match, Lichenek's goal looked a bit too open when Wlodzimierz Majkowski came free, but Ulryk Sokol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roch Sala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulryk Sokol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wlodzimierz Majkowski was the one to do the kick off. In the 97th minute Lichenek were awarded a corner. Franciszek Chowaniec went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Franciszek Chowaniec got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dobromir Wykowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Trzebiatkowa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
