If Ziemowit Dziatkowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Juliusz Ciempa could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Marcin Charlos however easily saved by the left post. Walery Gamza charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walery Gamza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes Kniatowy SA got a freekick which was hit by Walery Gamza. When Konrad Mielak fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polandinho's protests and gave Konrad Mielak a yellow card for diving instead. 35 minutes into the match, Kniatowy SA's goalkeeper Marcin Charlos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juliusz Ciempa. After 39 played minutes Polandinho got a freekick which was hit by Gwidon Rutecki. In the 40th minute of the match Zbyszek Malicki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zdzislaw Nieruchliwy skillfully saved the ball. After 40 played minutes Polandinho got a freekick which was hit by Stasio Majorski. 47 minutes into the game, Polandinho's Juliusz Ciempa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcin Charlos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
