When Boleslaw Jaszcz fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szakale Pustyni's protests and gave Boleslaw Jaszcz a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Szakale Pustyni got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Jaszcz. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind UKS UPADOWA's goalkeeper Boguslaw Rukszcz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Czeslaw Kowalski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Boguslaw Rukszcz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Dominik Walicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Czeslaw Kowalski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
