The supporters of Ruch Chorzów booed when LKS TYBETY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Resel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucjan Koczara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Buda, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Aleksander Buda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a left leg Wincent Rywin saved LKS TYBETY from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, LKS TYBETY's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Galus came free, but Wincent Rywin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in LKS TYBETY's zone, Tanek Perkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wincent Rywin came out of the goal and Tanek Perkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 89 played minutes, Ruch Chorzów's Fabian Resel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wincent Rywin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ruch Chorzów reached it. When Ruch Chorzów's Barnaba Galus in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lucjan Koczara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The LKS TYBETY supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LKS TYBETY would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
