Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Borys Liermann took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Slawomir Jaszyna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Runeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grabianka's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Krzysztof Chmelyk in the 6th minute. The corner ended in Krzysztof Chmelyk almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Flying Bassman's Johnny Runeberg did a great save. In the 11th minute of the match Krzysztof Chmelyk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johnny Runeberg skillfully saved the ball. Sylwester Fafinski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfred Tyszka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, FC Flying Bassman's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Jaszyna came free, but Johnny Runeberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borys Liermann charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Borys Liermann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Slawomir Jaszyna in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johnny Runeberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Grabianka's Alfred Tyszka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Fafinski in the 37th minute of play. When Maciej Klawki fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grabianka's protests and gave Maciej Klawki a yellow card for diving instead. Sylwester Fafinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alfred Tyszka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Borys Liermann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grabianka's supporters rose to their feet, but Borys Liermann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnny Runeberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
