Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kryspin Augustyniak got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, ŁKS Łódź's goalkeeper Gilbert Owsiak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pawel Bejger. Bartheln's Pawel Bejger got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute Kryspin Augustyniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Owsiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bartheln's goalkeeper Mariusz Chlebek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, ŁKS Łódź was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezary Barniszke to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, Zbyszek Czajka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bartheln's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ŁKS Łódź the free kick. After 26 played minutes Bartheln got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszek Czajka. Mariusz Chlebek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arkadiusz Borcz's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Arkadiusz Borcz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pawel Bejger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilbert Owsiak having to make a save. Cezary Dziewulski's late challenge caught a Bartheln's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cezary Dziewulski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, ŁKS Łódź was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezary Dziewulski to maneuver through the defense. After 40 minutes of play, ŁKS Łódź's Cezary Dziewulski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariusz Chlebek was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Kryspin Augustyniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half ŁKS Łódź were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arkadiusz Borcz to strike the kick off in the second half. Gilbert Owsiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kryspin Augustyniak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabian Orszak during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pawel Bejger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Pawel Bejger came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Bartheln fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pawel Bejger couldn't finish the play. Cyryl Puchlik took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilbert Owsiak. ŁKS Łódź's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Cezary Dziewulski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
