Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Iwan Huchro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Dawiec in the 8th minute of play forced Mühlenbach's goalkeeper Dariusz Tarasek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borys Dawiec struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Dariusz Tarasek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lech poznań. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Dawiec in the 12th minute of play forced Mühlenbach's goalkeeper Dariusz Tarasek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Iwan Huchro came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Mühlenbach fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iwan Huchro couldn't finish the play. Stefan Logewnik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Karol Purzycki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Iwan Huchro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mühlenbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Iwan Huchro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karol Purzycki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teobald Osowski kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A hard shot by Jurand Kinic from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Dariusz Tarasek's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krzysztof Hetman got free with Dariusz Tarasek in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lech poznań's Karol Purzycki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Logewnik in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Stefan Logewnik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mühlenbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Logewnik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Logewnik in the 42nd minute of play forced Lech poznań's goalkeeper Karol Purzycki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mühlenbach's Iwan Huchro in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lech poznań's goalie prevented a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iwan Huchro to make the kick off. Beniamin Ciupierdo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Dariusz Tarasek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jurand Kinic in the 54th minute of the match. Michal Antoszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Borys Dawiec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Mühlenbach defense, Krzysztof Hetman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dariusz Tarasek. The Mühlenbach fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dariusz Tarasek should have stopped the shot. After 74th play minutes Iwan Huchro shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Karol Purzycki and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 83rd minute Iwan Huchro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Purzycki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Stefan Logewnik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jurand Kinic fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lech poznań's protests and gave Jurand Kinic a yellow card for diving instead. Jurand Kinic kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lech poznań's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Beniamin Ciupierdo was slow to take the kick. During this time Mühlenbach's players had a chance to rest. Mühlenbach's Beniamin Ciupierdo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Karol Purzycki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Karol Purzycki made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Stefan Logewnik sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, Lech poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Iwan Huchro came free, but Karol Purzycki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Michal Antoszewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lech poznań's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mühlenbach the free kick. Iwan Huchro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
