If Boguslaw Dziechciowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Zdzislaw Olchawa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Plechów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MITSUBISHI TEAM the free kick. After a rather tough play, Plechów's Zdzislaw Olchawa got a free kick in the 9th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Gilbert Ciborek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plechów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Ciborek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lech Burdzel in the 15th minute of play forced Plechów's goalkeeper Lucjan Biskupiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boguslaw Dziechciowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Biskupiak having to interfere. Hieronim Maurycy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Ciborek in the 25th minute of play. Plechów's Tanek Brzonkala got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Plechów's goalkeeper Lucjan Biskupiak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boguslaw Dziechciowski. Lucjan Biskupiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Kasperowicz in the 36th minute of play. Boguslaw Dziechciowski struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Lucjan Biskupiak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MITSUBISHI TEAM. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Dziechciowski in the 42nd minute of play forced Plechów's goalkeeper Lucjan Biskupiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucjan Biskupiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Burdzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-0 became the score in the 45th minute when Boguslaw Dziechciowski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Gilbert Ciborek made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Wincenty Mojsiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tymoteusz Niemojewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Biskupiak having to interfere. Lech Burdzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Dziechciowski in the 65th minute of play forced Plechów's goalkeeper Lucjan Biskupiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilbert Ciborek charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilbert Ciborek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. MITSUBISHI TEAM's supporters rose to their feet, but Boguslaw Dziechciowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucjan Biskupiak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boguslaw Dziechciowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucjan Biskupiak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boguslaw Dziechciowski ran back to his position shaking his head. The throw-in from Jurand Japola in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MITSUBISHI TEAM's Tymoteusz Niemojewski. The audience was convinced that Gilbert Ciborek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hieronim Maurycy was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. There was no doubt that MITSUBISHI TEAM were the better team. MITSUBISHI TEAM's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
