Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Radomir Gabis started the match with the kick off. When Ellerwald's Teobald Smolarek in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wisła Kraków's goalie prevented a goal. In the 6th minute Ellerwald were awarded a corner. Ziemowit Poremba went to the cornerflag to take it. Ellerwald's Ziemowit Poremba was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Herbert Kiewra in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 9th match minute, Wisła Kraków was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziemowit Majusiak to maneuver through the defense. Ellerwald's Teobald Smolarek got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeusz Rosen hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Miromir Arnista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Herbert Kiewra made a huge save. 32 minutes into the game, Izydor Burdalski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ellerwald's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wisła Kraków the free kick. In the 32nd match minute, Ellerwald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Izydor Burdalski to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 36 minutes, Leon Wos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wisła Kraków's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Wos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Leon Wos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wisła Kraków's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ellerwald the free kick. After 41 played minutes Wisła Kraków got a freekick which was hit by Leon Wos. After having played for 46 minutes, Tadeusz Rosen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ellerwald's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeusz Rosen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teobald Smolarek to make the kick off. If Radomir Gabis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Wos got free with Maciej Tuliszewski in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Radomir Gabis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maciej Tuliszewski having to interfere. When Miromir Arnista came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Ellerwald fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miromir Arnista couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Teobald Smolarek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herbert Kiewra was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Maciej Tuliszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Gabis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teobald Smolarek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herbert Kiewra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. 1-2 became the score in the 78th minute when Radomir Gabis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Teobald Smolarek might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herbert Kiewra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobald Smolarek ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89thth minute of the game Teobald Smolarek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wisła Kraków's Herbert Kiewra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wisła Kraków's Herbert Kiewra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miromir Arnista in the 93rd minute of play. Herbert Kiewra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Arnista in the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Wisła Kraków were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Ellerwald side.
