In the 4th minute, Emil Rydzewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC CERGOWA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Jakub Pstrongowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC CERGOWA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GKS Neptun Gdańsk the free kick. A collision led to FC CERGOWA getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jakub Pstrongowski hit a great ball. Wlodzimierz Dobrowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Wnukowski in the 16th minute of play. Arkadiusz Wnukowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in GKS Neptun Gdańsk's zone, Arkadiusz Wnukowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wlodzimierz Dobrowski came out of the goal and Arkadiusz Wnukowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GKS Neptun Gdańsk's Wlodzimierz Dobrowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkadiusz Wnukowski in the 31st minute of play. Wincenty Basinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Andrysiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 33 played minutes FC CERGOWA got a freekick which was hit by Ziemowit Dawiec. With a little luck, FC CERGOWA's Wincenty Basinski got control of the ball when Pankracy Andrysiak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jerzy Malik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wlodzimierz Dobrowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Szymon Drugi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, GKS Neptun Gdańsk's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Malik came free, but Wlodzimierz Dobrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arkadiusz Wnukowski came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the FC CERGOWA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arkadiusz Wnukowski couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerzy Malik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arkadiusz Wnukowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 57 minutes, Dobromir Moizuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GKS Neptun Gdańsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dobromir Moizuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC CERGOWA's Wincenty Basinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobromir Moizuk in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match Pankracy Luty sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wincenty Basinski skillfully saved the ball. 70 minutes into the match, FC CERGOWA's goal looked a bit too open when Dobromir Moizuk came free, but Wincenty Basinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arkadiusz Wnukowski struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Wlodzimierz Dobrowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC CERGOWA. When Arkadiusz Wnukowski came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the FC CERGOWA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arkadiusz Wnukowski couldn't finish the play. If Jerzy Malik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Malik in the 89th minute of play forced GKS Neptun Gdańsk's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Dobrowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wincenty Basinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Andrysiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Wincenty Basinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Moizuk in the 94th minute of play. Arkadiusz Wnukowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wlodzimierz Dobrowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arkadiusz Wnukowski ran back to his position shaking his head. The GKS Neptun Gdańsk fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC CERGOWA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
