The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Andrzej Sliwinski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stanislaw Kaczanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Robak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Andrzej Sliwinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislaw Kaczanek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrzej Robak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Marud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Wierzchowski in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the JKS Szkodniki 1910 defense, Milosz Lichorobiec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Marud. The JKS Szkodniki 1910 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Marud should have stopped the shot. After 21 played minutes JKS Szkodniki 1910 got a freekick which was hit by Izydor Kossakowski. Grabau were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after JKS Szkodniki 1910's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Witalis Ogrodowicz took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Wierzchowski in the 30th minute of play forced JKS Szkodniki 1910's goalkeeper Sebastian Marud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Jakub Lampa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grabau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakub Lampa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edward Wierzchowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Marud having to interfere. Stanislaw Kaczanek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Robak, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Andrzej Robak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stanislaw Kaczanek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Stanislaw Kaczanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Jeziorkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes Grabau got a freekick which was hit by Jan Laba. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Wierzchowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andrzej Sliwinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislaw Kaczanek having to interfere. Witalis Ogrodowicz hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 56th match minute, JKS Szkodniki 1910 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Przemyslaw Kolbert to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st match minute, Grabau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milosz Lichorobiec to maneuver through the defense. When Andrzej Robak came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the JKS Szkodniki 1910 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrzej Robak couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Grabau getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Igor Maziarz hit a great ball. When Andrzej Robak came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the JKS Szkodniki 1910 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrzej Robak couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Marud came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Grabau's Jakub Lampa. But to his dismay, Jakub Lampa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jakub Lampa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Marud having to interfere. Andrzej Robak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Witalis Ogrodowicz during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Witalis Jeziorkowski hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Andrzej Sliwinski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stanislaw Kaczanek having to make a save. Andrzej Sliwinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
