The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Wiktor Badanowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marian Chazon to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Marian Chazon rounded FC Katrina's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. 58 minutes into the game, Wiktor Badanowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Wiktor Badanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Gonsiewski having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Marian Chazon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garzewko SA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Marian Chazon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garzewko SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Chazon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iwan Gonsiewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Garzewko SA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Katrina:s goal. Edward Skonieczny placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Radomir Zielinski got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of FC Katrina booed when Garzewko SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Zielinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 97 played minutes, FC Katrina's Edward Skonieczny shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Antoni Knopek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Katrina reached it. Garzewko SA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
