Aleksander Falkowski helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Elgenau:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wróbel Wrocław:s goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kazimierz Marchlewicz in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jedrzej Kiepski saved Elgenau from getting behind. Radomil Piatek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Jekot in the 21st minute of the match. Cezary Fujarczuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Iwaszko in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jedrzej Kiepski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kazimierz Marchlewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Kiepski having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Robert Iwaszko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jedrzej Kiepski was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, Grzegorz Jekot dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Radomil Piatek, 1-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grzegorz Jekot to make the kick off. Elgenau's Jedrzej Kiepski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witalis Jeziorkowski in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Elgenau booed when Wróbel Wrocław was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walery Hejza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Cezary Fujarczuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elgenau's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezary Fujarczuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomil Piatek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robert Iwaszko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Kiepski having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Marchlewicz in the 61st minute of play forced Elgenau's goalkeeper Jedrzej Kiepski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Iwaszko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jedrzej Kiepski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Iwaszko went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Elgenau's Jedrzej Kiepski got control of the ball when Robert Iwaszko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kazimierz Marchlewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Robert Iwaszko came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Wróbel Wrocław fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Iwaszko couldn't finish the play. Jedrzej Kiepski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Iwaszko in the 79th minute. In the 85th match minute, Wróbel Wrocław was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walery Hejza to maneuver through the defense. Grzegorz Jekot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Grzegorz Jekot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elgenau's supporters rose to their feet, but Grzegorz Jekot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomil Piatek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Wróbel Wrocław supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Wróbel Wrocław would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
