In the 16th match minute, Ciemne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Bobrowski to maneuver through the defense. Olgierd Jazwiec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Piotr Duda made a huge save. In the 21st minute Olgierd Sowa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Duda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute Przemyslaw Zawada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliusz Dombrowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ŁKS Łódź FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Iwo Turek hit a great ball. After 33 played minutes, Ciemne's Czeslaw Bielejewski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Piotr Duda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ciemne reached it. In the 35th minute, Gustaw Pilitowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureliusz Dombrowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, ŁKS Łódź FC's Zbyszek Wykowski got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Benedykt Dombrowski fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ŁKS Łódź FC's protests and gave Benedykt Dombrowski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Benedykt Dombrowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ciemne's Igor Bobrowski got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wincent Klawke to make the kick off. ŁKS Łódź FC's Janusz Gurgul got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pawel Szarmach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Aureliusz Dombrowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute Gustaw Pilitowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliusz Dombrowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Janusz Gurgul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to ŁKS Łódź FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Przemyslaw Zawada hit a great ball. The supporters of Ciemne booed when ŁKS Łódź FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszek Wykowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to ŁKS Łódź FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Benedykt Dombrowski hit a great ball. Aureliusz Dombrowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaw Pilitowski in the 75th minute of the match. Przemyslaw Zawada kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Gustaw Pilitowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ŁKS Łódź FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaw Pilitowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustaw Pilitowski struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Aureliusz Dombrowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ŁKS Łódź FC.
