Zygmunt Skoroda struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Adam Paprotny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Widzew Łódź. Robert Drebit made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Szymon Majorski sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute, Marian Trela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milosz Lenertej sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Drebit made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grzegorz Mierzejewski in the 24th minute. Zygmunt Skoroda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Paprotny having to interfere. The supporters of Victoria Orzełek booed when Widzew Łódź was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Lenertej didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Szymon Majorski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Victoria Orzełek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Szymon Majorski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zygmunt Skoroda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Paprotny having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Zygmunt Skoroda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Paprotny was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. If Milosz Lenertej had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Zygmunt Skoroda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adam Paprotny was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Adam Paprotny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Skoroda in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Szymon Majorski to strike the kick off in the second half. Robert Drebit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Mierzejewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Jakub Lewandowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Victoria Orzełek's Beniamin Fleszar got a free kick in the 61st minute. With his leg Adam Paprotny managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Widzew Łódź's Zygmunt Skoroda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Zygmunt Skoroda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victoria Orzełek's Adam Paprotny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Lenertej in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Victoria Orzełek's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Lenertej came free, but Adam Paprotny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milosz Lenertej received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Adam Paprotny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zygmunt Skoroda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Victoria Orzełek's Jakub Lewandowski got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Milosz Lenertej fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Paprotny having to interfere. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Victoria Orzełek's goalkeeper Adam Paprotny, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adam Paprotny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Milosz Lenertej's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Zygmunt Skoroda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Widzew Łódź could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Victoria Orzełek throughout the match.
