The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jedrzej Kolano might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ksawery Turek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. STOPROCENT EKIPA's Zenon Bentkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Piglowski in the 12th minute of play. Zenon Bentkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janusz Piglowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, STOPROCENT EKIPA's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Piglowski came free, but Zenon Bentkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aleksander Ewertowski in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zenon Bentkowski saved STOPROCENT EKIPA from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Jedrzej Kolano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Janusz Piglowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Bentkowski having to interfere. In the 41st minute Janusz Piglowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Bentkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 56th minute, Leonard Orlicki sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and STOPROCENT EKIPA's Zenon Bentkowski didn't even have to move. In the 58th minute, Ludomil Wielowiejski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zenon Bentkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janusz Piglowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68thth minute of the game Janusz Piglowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STOPROCENT EKIPA's Zenon Bentkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zenon Bentkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aleksander Ewertowski in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Piglowski in the 78th minute of play forced STOPROCENT EKIPA's goalkeeper Zenon Bentkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
