Bogdan Galus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wit Mentis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zbigniew Ruzicki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedykt Sokol in the 10th minute. Strachomin's Zbigniew Ruzicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Strachomin from getting a goal against them. If Bogdan Galus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Strachomin's Bogdan Galus got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benedykt Sokol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zachary Sobania made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Galus in the 25th minute of play. When Strachomin's Wit Mentis in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Szostaki's goalie prevented a goal. Zbigniew Ruzicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Czapski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Wit Mentis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachary Sobania saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Strachomin's Bogdan Galus got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olaf Czapski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Zbigniew Ruzicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Strachomin were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Wit Mentis made the kick off in the second half. Zachary Sobania made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wit Mentis in the 53rd minute of play. Zbigniew Ruzicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Czapski in the 56th minute of the match. Bogdan Galus's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zachary Sobania firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 75th match minute, Szostaki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislaw Lesiecki to maneuver through the defense. Wit Mentis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachary Sobania having to interfere. Olaf Czapski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbigniew Ruzicki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Benedykt Sokol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbigniew Ruzicki having to interfere. Strachomin's Zbigniew Ruzicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedykt Sokol in the 84th minute of play. Zbigniew Ruzicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedykt Sokol in the 85th minute of the match. Benedykt Sokol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbigniew Ruzicki having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Strachomin's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Czapski came free, but Zbigniew Ruzicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bogdan Galus came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Strachomin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogdan Galus couldn't finish the play. Strachomin played a much better game than Szostaki and deserved their victory. The Szostaki players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
