The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikolaj Fiszer got free with Zachary Dranka in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziemowit Augustyniak in the 11th minute of play forced KP Horodyszcze's goalkeeper Zachary Dranka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Tobiasz Podolski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Sośnica Gliwice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobiasz Podolski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Czeslaw Banan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyprian Kolbert having to interfere. If Zenon Betonowy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 played minutes KP Horodyszcze got a freekick which was hit by Teobald Cholewa. The crowd rose to their feet as Mikolaj Fiszer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zachary Dranka. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. If Ziemowit Augustyniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Czeslaw Banan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Cyprian Kolbert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Mikolaj Fiszer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zenon Betonowy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cyprian Kolbert having to make a save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Czeslaw Banan made a kick off. If Czeslaw Banan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 59 minutes, Mikolaj Fiszer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Sośnica Gliwice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikolaj Fiszer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zachary Dranka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolaj Fiszer, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 71st minute, Fabian Gacki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Czeslaw Banan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Kolbert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of KP Horodyszcze booed when KS Sośnica Gliwice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wit Walaszkiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. KS Sośnica Gliwice's Cyprian Kolbert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save KS Sośnica Gliwice from getting a goal against them. In the 88th match minute, KS Sośnica Gliwice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wieslaw Jucha to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute Ziemowit Augustyniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachary Dranka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
