The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Borys Lichorobiec mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dolphins and the Heubuden SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Dolphins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borys Lichorobiec to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Norbert Okopny was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heubuden SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dolphins the free kick. Zachariasz Nieruchliwy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Walery Jurgiel made a huge save. Ulryk Kaczucha hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Leon Galus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobiasz Zurawski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Walery Jurgiel made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Zachariasz Nieruchliwy sent off a good shot on target. Zbyszko Czermak charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zbyszko Czermak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zbyszko Czermak hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Edgar Szpakowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Walery Jurgiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar Szpakowski during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sylwester Klocko's late challenge caught a Heubuden SSA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sylwester Klocko helped the player get up and apologised. Sylwester Klocko hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Florian Pankowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Florian Pankowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobiasz Zurawski having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Leon Galus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heubuden SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Galus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobiasz Zurawski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Szpakowski in the 60th minute of play forced Heubuden SSA's goalkeeper Walery Jurgiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobiasz Zurawski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Galus in the 62nd minute of the match. After 66 minutes of play, Dolphins's Zachariasz Nieruchliwy made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walery Jurgiel was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachariasz Nieruchliwy in the 69th minute of play forced Heubuden SSA's goalkeeper Walery Jurgiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zachariasz Nieruchliwy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walery Jurgiel having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Leon Galus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heubuden SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Galus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dolphins's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Leon Galus 78 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. Tobiasz Zurawski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Galus in the 81st minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Edgar Szpakowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walery Jurgiel. Heubuden SSA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Szpakowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Norbert Okopny was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Norbert Okopny hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Zbyszko Czermak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walery Jurgiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachariasz Nieruchliwy, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Zachariasz Nieruchliwy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Heubuden SSA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Heubuden SSA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
