The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes Pissen got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Dejo. Sylwester Fikus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wawrzyniec Mosiniak's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Milosz Majusiak firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Tadeusz Bara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milosz Majusiak made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Wawrzyniec Mosiniak sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute, one of Pissen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pissen. When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Virtus Warszawa's Kazimierz Filanowski got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Milosz Majusiak. After a defensive mix-up in Virtus Warszawa's zone, Sylwester Fikus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Piotr Domarecki came out of the goal and Sylwester Fikus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mieszko Milko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Piotr Domarecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Though ot was a great shot Virtus Warszawa's keeper Piotr Domarecki was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. A hard shot 67 in the game by Mieszko Milko from a close distance when the talented Piotr Domarecki managed to make a qualified save. Virtus Warszawa's players were relieved. Wladyslaw Luty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th match minute, Virtus Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Fetor to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Fikus in the 75th minute of play forced Virtus Warszawa's goalkeeper Piotr Domarecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mieszko Milko got free with Piotr Domarecki in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 78 played minutes Virtus Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Fetor. Sylwester Fikus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Sylwester Fikus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th play minute Mieszko Milko came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Piotr Domarecki. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mieszko Milko got free with Piotr Domarecki in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sylwester Fikus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Piotr Domarecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Virtus Warszawa support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
